The principle is that you place the panel face down on table and once detaching the black plastic rim (screws/notches) lift the back plate up with a pen to get access to the leds. Sorry to say, the led strip is the very last component of the screen, attached to its place by a legion of very small srews that you barely can access when the panel is held upside down and open (in my pictures by a pen).
